On Saturday, April 27th, students representing both AREC and the Global Poverty Minor will host many activities to celebrate Maryland Day. Students will share how these programs transformed their academic experience and introduced them to new opportunities at the University of Maryland. They will be available to answer any questions visitors might have. There will be seeds, soil, and starter pots for you to prepare and take home with you. Also, there will be a game of bean bag toss that visitors are welcome to participate in. The tables will be located near the university’s farm in the courtyard of the Animal Sciences building. We hope to see you there!
