Agricultural Outlook and Policy

Since 1999, the department has offered an Annual Agricultural Outlook and Policy Conference.  This conference is a way to gather experts to discuss topics important to Maryland agriculture.  This conference is a highlight of the year.

16th Annual Agricultural Outlook and Policy Conference

The 16th Annual Agricultural Outlook and Policy Conference was held on Dec. 16th, 2014 at the Doubletree Hotel in Annapolis, MD. Experts provided insight on conservation practices, water quality issues, energy policies, the continuing farm bill discussion, a state policy update, and commodity market outlooks. To view the available materials from the conference, click here.

15th Annual Agricultural Outlook and Policy Conference

The 15th Annual Agricultural Outlook and Policy Conference was held on Dec. 4th, 2013 at the Loews Hotel in Annapolis, MD.  Experts focused on the most important issues confronting agriculture in the next year and beyond, especially ones whose complexity requires information and analysis beyond that available in popular media outlets.  To view the available materials from the conference, click here.

14th Annual Agricultural Outlook and Policy Conference
