AREC 404 - Prices of Agricultural Products (3) Prerequisite: ECON 306. The study of agricultural price behavior. Emphasis is placed on price discovery, the use of price information in the decision-making process, the relation of supply and demand in determining agricultural prices, and the relation of prices to grade, time, location, and stages of processing in the marketing system. The course introduces elementary methods of price analysis, and the role of price support programs in agricultural decisions. |
